I am Prateek Paul, a Ph.D. Research Student in Computational Biology at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D). While pursuing my research, I am trying my best to get skilled to work at the crossroads of biology, statistics and computer science. I am deeply involved in AI-based genomic and health databases.
Bioinformatics is exciting because it allows me to design algorithms to tackle some of these very large and complex biological datasets. It is fun because we find out new things about the world every time we run our code.
